Cells
Students will learn about the general structure and function of cells. They'll explain that all living systems are composed of cells and that organisms may be unicellular or multicellular. They'll understand that cells are composed of biological macromolecules and that the complex processes of the cell allow it to maintain a stable internal environment necessary to maintain life.
Who has larger cells: a baby, a toddler, a teenager, or an adult? If you don't know, you'll have to find out in class!
Our unit on mitosis, meiosis, and the cell cycle.
How do the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration go together to make a cycle? We will find out in this interesting unit!
Our 1st model of the year. Students will present these in front of the class.
